Vancouver and Dubai-based investor Yazan Al Homsi says Rocket Doctor AI’s newly announced California provider-network agreement adds a new test to an investment thesis he has focused on for months: that the company’s long-term opportunity may depend less on conventional telehealth growth than on infrastructure for reimbursed physician-led care. Rocket Doctor announced August 18 that physicians using its platform had entered a strategic provider-network agreement providing access across five healthcare and insurance channels in California, including commercial healthcare, Medicare Advantage, workers’ compensation and auto medical.

Healthcare facilities modernize radiography for different reasons, from introducing a first DR room and replacing film-based, CR or aging DR systems to improving digital workflows and adding routine-imaging capacity. STARVIEW provides a practical solution for these different projects. Built around the value pillars Fully Digital, Easy to Adopt and Built to Grow, STARVIEW combines digital image acquisition, practical room operation and configuration flexibility. The system supports patient and examination management, digital image acquisition, image review and output across connected or standalone workflow environments.
A deterministic hybrid cloud architecture offers enterprises a clear path forward in the agentic AI era. Addressing these changes, Huawei Cloud has introduced an AI agent-ready hybrid cloud architectureNext, comprising four key capabilities: an agile, elastic cloud infrastructure designed for continuous evolution and unified general-purpose and AI compute; an AI-native capability hub that connects data, compute, and tokens; an agent-native enablement platform for developing and running AI agents at scale; and intelligent operations and end-to-end security capabilities covering the entire AI agent lifecycle. Antonony Gu emphasized, “As AI agent adoption continues to accelerate over the next three to five years, a deterministic hybrid cloud architecture is a clear path forward for enterprises in the agentic world.”

Mr. Hou Jinlong, Director of the Board of Huawei and President of Huawei Digital Power, stated in the opening speech that decarbonization, electrification, digitalization, and intelligence have become the long-term trends of global energy transition. However, there is no one-size-fits-all solution to the energy transition. Different regions and economies face varying and structural complex challenges. In regions with high renewable energy penetration, the focus is on system safety. In emerging economies, the focus is on ensuring power supply and reducing costs. In underdeveloped regions, the focus is on inclusive access to electricity. The integration of grid-forming technology with AI enables renewable energy to achieve low cost, high reliability, sustainability, and supply security. This provides a brand-new, replicable, and feasible solution for energy transition. Huawei Digital Power is committed to working with all partners to promote the vision of “grid forming everywhere and AI for everywhere” and build a healthy, prosperous, and sustainable digital power industry ecosystem.
The round attracted strategic investment from a leading global internet company, alongside with top-tier investment institutions, and continued follow-on investments from existing shareholders. The funding aims to enhance Sunrise™ Chip product portfolio across all computing levels, and to develop a software platform spanning the entire robot development chain. Together, they form an integrated hardware-software infrastructure for AI robots, supporting every development scenario, from mature robot categories to general-purpose humanoid robots.
Zhou Jianjun stated: “Electricity is essential for computing. Today, in the AI era, the startup, shutdown, and load fluctuations of a large AIDC campus can all impact grid operations.” He emphasized that as the penetration of renewable energy continues to rise, the power grid itself is also evolving, with local grid strength declining and volatility and uncertainty increasing. Future AIDCs must not only adapt to weak grids and maintain stable operation during grid fluctuations, but also support the grid and become a key “grid-friendly” node. Therefore, the integration of generation, grid, load, and storage has become an inevitable choice for AIDC development.”
“Energy storage technologies must overcome two barriers to achieve large-scale deployment: affordability and availability,” said Dr. Nazar Yi, Chief Technology Officer of HiTHIUM. Sodium is abundant and widely distributed, supporting resource security and supply-chain stability. As sodium-ion material systems, manufacturing processes and supply chain continue to mature, sodium-ion batteries can move from an energy technology to infrastructure. Building on its integrated capabilities in R&D, manufacturing, quality and supply-chain development, HiTHIUM has transferred its expertise to sodium-ion development, from materials to station applications.”
Fastmarkets Connect is the new name for the digital price discovery and deal initiation proposition announced in June at the Global Lithium, Battery & Critical Materials conference in Las Vegas. TMX Trayport’s technology is widely used across established commodity markets, including energy, environmental markets and bulk commodities. By working with TMX Trayport, Fastmarkets will bring proven market infrastructure to the lithium sector, where electronic price discovery and deal initiation mechanisms remain less developed than in many more mature commodity markets.

Led by CKGSB’s Professor of Economics and Associate Dean Li Wei, the report argues that Chinese corporate globalization is entering a third phase — “capability export.” Rather than simply shipping products or building overseas sales channels, companies are increasingly taking the operating capabilities abroad – including technical standards, product development, supply-chain organization, service, branding, and business models—while adapting them to local markets.
